I am developing new dynamic models describing the cellular compartmentalization of signaling pathways activated by gonadotropin hormones and their receptors, using ordinary differential equations (ODEs). These models make it possible to analyze the relationship between receptor endosomal trafficking and cellular responses by studying equilibrium states and bistability. Parameter estimation between mathematical models and biological data makes it possible to identify kinetic constants. I am also interested in hybrid formalisms, such as piecewise-deterministic Markov processes, to model the behavior of individual endosomes.
