My work focuses on studying G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) signaling, with particular interest in the oxytocin receptor (OTR) and its role in regulating social behaviors. I use genetically modified mouse models to analyze the impact of targeted deletion of the OTR gene on behavioral phenotypes. My approach combines molecular biology techniques, targeted brain dissections, and behavioral analyses. This work follows an integrative approach aimed at linking molecular mechanisms to behavioral functions.
